What I Use

These are the drums and cymbals I use most often, although it may differ somewhat due to the situation.

Drums: Premier Artist Birch in Rosewood lacquer w/ISO mounts

Two 22x16 bass drums (or 24x18 Zickos bass drum)
10x8 tom
12x9 tom
13x10 tom
14x11 floor tom (suspended)
16x14 floor tom (suspended)
14x5,5 snare
or
14x7 Ž70s Ludwig maple snare
or
14x7 Gretsch maple snare

Shoes:

None. Feels better.

Ear Plugs:

Use them!
And do invest in a good pair because no money is too much! Alpine make good ear foam things; and if you wanna go pro try the Vic Firth headphones!

Cymbals:

18" Paiste Alpha crystal crash
18" Zildjian ŽAŽ medium crash
14" Sabian medium hi-hats
20" Sabian AAX Studio Ride
20" Zildjian Medium Ride
18" Zildjian Oriental China Trash
10" Sabian AAX splash

Heads:

I've been using Remo heads for the last 15 years, but Mr. Jansson has convinced me that Evans is the way to go. And I agree.
The G2 heads on top of toms really make them sing!
On the other hand - I still haven't gotten the snare heads I wanted...

Sticks:

Vater; Blazer or Fusion model w/wood tip
Ludwig brushes
Vic Firth Hot Rods
